House 04 was designed for the Accessible House (Dom Dostępny) competition run by Murator magazine. The brief required compliance with the technical standards due to come into force in 2021.

The two-storey house has a roughly L-shaped plan; the living area sits within a rectangle oriented according to the principles of energy-efficient design. The northern roof slope is covered by a green roof that climbs from ground level up to the ridge and improves the building's insulation. The external walls are three-layered: a light steel frame filled with mineral wool, clad in timber and basalt panels.

The heart of the house is a winter garden: it regulates the indoor microclimate and connects the different parts of the building.
