Two two-unit residential buildings on Krzewowa Street in Kraków, designed for BOMI on an almost flat plot of about 1,300 m².
Each building consists of two box-like storeys shifted against each other beneath a multi-pitched roof. On part of the volume the roof is cut away: in this recess, above the upper floor, there is a terrace with greenery, tucked into the roof form. Entrances and parking spaces are on the north side, along a shared access lane, and the rest of the plot is given over to gardens. Large glazing opens the interiors to the greenery.
Both houses have a ground floor clad in natural-coloured timber battens. Above, they differ in material: the first has cladding resembling elongated brick in a limestone colour, the second wood charred using the Japanese shou sugi ban technique. Construction is under way, with completion planned for the first half of 2027.
