The Glass House is a concept for a house in the forest: a light, glazed pavilion that separates its residents from their surroundings as little as possible.
The house stands on columns, in a light steel frame, raised above the ground. Full-height glazing opens the interior to the forest on all sides, and a timber footbridge leads to the entrance. A green gable roof ties the volume to its surroundings. Next to it stands a second, smaller building – a garage and workshop.
